Betting Acronyms glossary

2UP – 2 goals up, used for the Bet365 and Paddy early pay out offers
ACCA – Abbreviation for an accumulator bet.
AGS – Any time goalscorer
Ah – Asian Handicap – a specific market with a bookie or spread betting company
AP – Advantage Play – We we have an [usually] a long term advantage
ARB – Arbitrage bet
BBL – A type of specific horse racing offer, beaten by a length
BF – Betfair
BOG – Best Odds Guarantee. Back at 4.0 and ut drifts to 5.5, you will be paid at 5.5.if entitled still
BSP – Betfair starting price. The decimal odds the horse was on Betfair, at the start of the race.
BTTS – A specific [usually] football market
COMMS – Commissions
CS – Correct Score
DD/HH – Double Delight/Hatrick Heaven
EV – Expected Value or Estimated Value
FB – Free Bet
FS – Free spins
HT/FT – Half time/full time
GUBBED – Account stake and offers restricted. Press “max bet” to see your limit.
HEDGE – Another term for “overLaying”
ISP – Industry starting price. The same as BSP but this is the bookies SP.
KYC – Know Your Customer (used when verifying accounts)
LC – Live CHAT.
LGS – Last Goal Scorer.
MBS – Money back special – A type of offer, very broad term.
NR – Non runner. Usually Horses, can be other like Greyhounds
O/U – Over/under markets. Example: over 2.5 goals, etc
PUP – Pick your punt
QB – Qualifying bet
OP – Opening Post (the first post in a forum)R4 – A deduction that can be made when there is a NR [Non runner]. Under odds 15.0.
RF – Risk Free
RTP – Return to player (used on slots, each slot has a return to player %)
SM – Smarkets
SNR – Stake Not Returned
SP – Starting price. Usually means ISP. This term Is used more commonly than ISP.
SPOOF – A false order in Betfair market
WR – Wagering Requirement – Amount of times needed to wager, before you can withdraw
