Profit Tips
Extra Places Profiting
Arb Hunter Profit Tip 1
Placing an Each Way Bet with a Bookmaker and laying off at an exchange!
The beauty about Each Way, Extra Place betting is you can often use these on Gubbed Accounts too!
Tip 1
When prioritising Extra Place offers – look at the ones offer more extra places. A good example of this would the regular William Hill 7 to be placed offer. This is usually based on fields that have a standard of 4 places, therefore offering THREE extra places!
Tip 3
To guarantee matches, it may be worth paying commissions on Betfair. This way you can regularly lay in liquid markets throughout the day, including early in the day.
Tip 2
When searching for matches – don’t expect to complete the job in one sitting! Checking intermittently, several times, will increase your profit potential.
Tip 4
Remember it’s not just Horse Racing that provides extra places, check other markets such as Golf too, especially during larger tournaments.
Sharbing Profiting
Sharbing profiting
Arb Hunter Profit Tip 2
Like everything [mostly] in Matched Betting, the easier days have passed us by, and same applies to Sharbing. Sharbing is done professionally by some … some who really know their betting shops.
Tip 1
Apart from the possibility of being “Shop Gubbed” … Sharbing won’t affect accounts, unlike online. Meaning you can repeatedly take offers and prices without it leaving a ‘Red Flag’ on your account.
Tip 3
Good for certain markets such as: 1 X 2 Coupons, ante post, Specials Betting, Greyhounds, Arbs.
Tip 2
Inner City Sharbing, or any area that has a cluster of Bookmakers within a 1km radius is best to target first. Check on maps and make a plan. Form a strategy.
Tip 4
Get wise to odds conversions! Fractions and decimal conversions can be learnt quickly. The sharper you are – the more profits you will make from sharbing.
2up Early Payout Strategies
2up Early Payout Strategies
Arb Hunter Profit Tip 3
This is a very subjective offer to work out …. which is the best approach to profit from? If I had £1 for every time I was asked this …
Tip 1
Be mindful that the Qualifying Losses don’t become too high. With a streak of no turnarounds or cash Out opportunities, QL can become costly!
Tip 3
Cashing out at low odds such as 1.1. I generally dissuade people from doing this. You will miss out on the big wins and only gain small ones – that [in my opinion] are not worth taking QL’s for!
Tip 2
Be flexible with your strategy! Although having a strict strategy reduces subjectivity – it will also cost you profits. Learn to be slick and fast-thinking.
Tip 4
Check matches intermittently. Similar to the EW EP advice given – check these at different times; Don’t expect to smash it all in one sitting!
